Terms and Conditions

Batch Numbers

All flooring products have batch numbers, products from different batches may have a visible colour difference. We will make every effort possible for your flooring to be from the same batch. If you place an order for the same floor covering as ordered at a previous date it may come from a seperate batch and we do not take responsibilty for discrepancies in this scenario. This also applies to patterned carpets. We will make every effort to get patterns to match, however, it is not always possible or cost effective to do so. Carpets with different widths have no guarantee of exact matches unless stated.

British Standards

All installations and products supplied by us comply with British Standards. You can check all relevant standards on bsigroup.com.

Carpet Backing

We will always choose fleece or felt backing over hesian or action backing due to many benefits where possible.

Collection

Every effort is made for goods requested for collection to be made available as soon as possible.

Delivery

All deliveries are kerbside deliveries, this means someone mut be there to accept goods. Once the goods are delivered the driver will take a photo as proof of delivery. When it is delivered it is no longer our responsibilty. If you are unhappy with the items or they are damaged you must tell the driver you are not accepting delivery. If you accept delivery of the goods and don't have proof they were damaged prior to delivery being made then we cannot accept it back. Failure to accept arranged delivery due to no one being at the requested delivery address may incur charges. The requested delivery adress must be accessible for large vans and small lorries otherwise delivery may not be possible.

Dimensions & Wastage

All dimensions provided by customers are the customers responsibilty, inaccurate measurements provided will incur additional costs. We will make every effort to reduce wastage as much as possible.

Faults

All goods much be checked for faults as soon as possible. If you find a product fault but have already cut/used the product then we cannot accept a return of the goods.

Floor Levelling

Whilst every effort will be made to get subfloors being preparred level it is not the main focus. Levelling is a loosely used term when preparing floors but the main focus for a long lasting floor is to get it smooth. Please ask us for more details on this if there is any confusion. Your area may require further preparation if your subfloor is in poor condition, this may not be known until the initial preparation is completed and the subfloor is further checked.

Furniture and Old Flooring

All furniture and old floor coverings must be removed prior to installation. Failure to do so may incur in addittional charges for us to to complete our service. It may also delay projects resulting in completion later than planned. If you require this service please inform us when quoting.

Gift Cards

All gift cards supplied by Exclusive Flooring Cheshire have a minimum spend for the discount to be applied. There is a minimum spend of £750 for £50 off and £1500 for £100 off. The minimum spend is the total of all of your order after VAT before the discount is applied. Gift Cards can be used to friends and family or the recipient. Once the Gift Card has been used once it cannot be used again.

Giveaways

To be entered into giveaways there is a minimum spend required which is stated during the giveaway. All orders above the minimum spend between the start and finish date will be entered. If the winner refuses the prize a new winner will be chosen until the prize is accepted. If the giveaway is a floor covering with installation, it will include all relevant subfloor preparation providing the subfloor must be load bearing. If the subfloor is not load bearing we will not be able to carry out the installation and the prize may be voided. Any additional flooring required oer the amount given away will be at standard price. If we cannot get in contact with you on the provided contact details your prize may be voided.

Installation Dates & Times

All installation completion dates are estimates due to possible delays, projects may take longer than orginally planned but we will make every effort to complete all projects as soon as possible. Arrival times are to be used as guides only.

Manufacturer Guarentees

We make every effort to comply with manufacturers requirements for their products. Supply only orders may or may not be eligible for manufacture warranties and you must ensure all installations you carry out on products we supply comply with the recommendations to avoid warranties being voided.

Order Cancellation

There may be a cancellation fee on select orders that we cannot return or will be charged for returning them as well as possible admin or delivery fees. You will then be refunded the remaining amount once this fee has been deducted. If this amount exceeds your deposit you will not recieve any amount refunded and the amount extra will be covered by ourselves.

Payment

We take a 50% deposit as standard which is deducted from your final balance. We may agree to an alternative amount as a deposit depending on the order. We will always ask for payment via bank transfer or via card terminal but payment may be accepted by other methods upon request. Once deposit is taken any installation dates will then be confirmed and products will be ordered. We require the balance to be paid in full the same day as completion of the job. The flooring remains our full ownership until the balance is paid in full.

Quoting & Estimating

We will provide as accurate quote or estimate as possible. If we cannot get access to subfloors when quoting and estimating we may need to carry out additional work. This will be at an additional cost and we will not carry out installations that we believe will fail. If you do not accept the additional amount we will terminate your contract. If the area we have quoted for changes, including demensions, shape, fixtures and subfloors, you will be required to inform us and you may incur additional costs. We do not accept responsibilty if you have made changes and not informed us leading to inability to complete the project.

Shading

All carpets will shade during there lifespan. This is a nature of the product as does not make the product faulty or inferior in any way. Carpets installed at different dates may have a visible colour difference even from the same batch due to shading and does not make the product faulty.

Uplifting & Disposal

Due to the high costs of commercial wastage we unfortunately do not remove any old flooring or flooring products or dispose of waste free of charge. We will always aim to put any waste material in bags or in neat piles or directly into skips if accessible. We can dispose of all materials at a charge which should be discussed prior. We also charge for uplifting old floor coverings which should also be discussed prior to installation. If you need this service but have not asked for it prior to ordering you may incur an additional charge for this service or have your installation delayed. As all installations carried out on products we supply that you are purchasing from us the waste from the installation is not owned by us therefore meaning we are not responsible for it after completion. We will always do everything in our power to accommodate to your needs but as we keep our prices are keen and fair as possible it is a service we can only provide at an additional charge.

Warranties

All installation carried out by ourselves will have warranty. We offer an unmatched extended 3 year installation warranty as standard compared to the standard of 1 year offere by most other retailers & contractors. This is only for installation as manufactureres offer their own warranty for their products. You must comply to all the manufacturers requirements and recommendations to avoid any products not lasting as designed and any warranty claims being voided. If the flooring has been mistreated or been used for things outside of its purpose your warranty may be voided. Warranty will only be eligible on floor coverings and materials installed by ourselves that we supply but may be available upon requsted prior to the install being carried out if we have not supplied it.

Wires & Pipes

We do not accept responsibility for damaged wires or pipes unless we have been informed of the exact locations in writing prior to the start of installation. Where required we will hide wires upon request to the best of our ability.
